I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and tidy, with lovely beds that were really comfy. However, my room was quite a long walk from the entrance. The overall cleanliness was spotless and impressive.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were everything I would expect from a travel lodge—clean and tidy, with lovely beds that were really comfy. However, my room was the furthest away from the door as it could be, making it quite a long walk.
Service
8.0
The service was friendly and helpful. The staff were welcoming, smiley, and accommodating. I did notice some staff talking on the phone outside while I was waiting to provide feedback about the lack of shower amenities, but they were generally nice.
Location
9.0
The location of the hotel is ideal for trips to Cambridge, Addenbrookes, or Stansted Airport. It's perfect for accessing major routes and is situated on a historic site. However, it was a bit tricky to find as it's behind a Shell garage.
Dining
5.0
Unfortunately, the dining options were not great. There is no on-site restaurant, and the nearby choices are expensive and of poor quality.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were satisfactory overall. The absence of certain amenities like a restaurant was a downside, but the cleanliness and maintenance were satisfactory.

The hotel rooms overlook a field and are comfortable, although they are very dated and worn out with peeling plastic coverings on chairs, desks with dents and chipped edges, and old carpets. The service is excellent and helpful. The location, behind a service stop with limited nearby amenities, has some drawbacks but is convenient for visiting certain local attractions. The dining experience, although it charges extra for breakfast, offers globally inspired dishes. Facilities are in good condition.

The hotel is off the main grid behind a service stop, which may not have many nearby options but is convenient for specific attractions.
Dining

The dining would be the only criticism with limited quality and an additional charge for breakfast.

The hotel had dated and worn-out rooms, but the service was welcoming and smiley. The location was perfect for accessing major routes and provided a peaceful stay. The dining was expensive and not up to standards. The facilities were decent overall.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The room faced some trees, making it quiet and standard for a Travelodge room. It did get a bit hot, but the lady at the reception was helpful and provided a fan promptly. The cleanliness was fairly good, especially considering its proximity to the reception.

The room was standard for a Travelodge, facing some trees, and quiet. The lady at the reception promptly provided a fan when it got hot.
Service
7.0
The staff were helpful, friendly, and welcoming. They even efficiently handled a situation with another guest. However, the main corridor had a strong smell of cannabis.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location behind a Shell garage and near food services like Greggs, Subway, and Burger King is quite convenient for accessing major routes. Despite being close to a petrol station and a boarded-up Burger King, it's in a strategic spot for local events or trips to Cambridge, Addenbrookes, or Stansted Airport.
Dining
5.0
While the dining options were of very poor quality and expensive, I must say the delicious homemade cakes were a pleasant surprise compared to what the hotel offered.
Facilities

Perhaps there is room for improvement in this area.

The hotel is a mixed bag - while the rooms are very dated and worn out, the service from Amanda, Sian, and Caroline was helpful and full of smiles. The location is somewhat isolated but convenient for motorway access, and the dining quality is poor but at least comparable to the Travelodge. Overall, it's acceptable for an overnight stay if you can overlook the tired rooms and lackluster dining.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms are very dated and worn out, with plastic covering peeling off chairs and bathrooms with non-working soap dispensers. They are just about acceptable for an overnight stay.
Service
7.0
The staff, especially Amanda, Sian, and Caroline, were helpful despite dealing with challenging situations. They greeted us with smiles and banter, which was a nice touch.
Location
6.0
The hotel is off the main grid behind a service stop with limited amenities nearby, but it offers easy motorway access which can be convenient for travelers looking for a quick stopover.
Dining
5.0
The dining quality is very poor, especially considering the high price without breakfast. However, it's on par with what you might expect at a standard Travelodge.
Facilities
5.0
There is no restaurant available on-site, and the overall facilities are lacking compared to other options.
